Holiday Inn Express Roseburg by IHG

More of an old-style hotel where the entrance passageway is open and not enclosed or walled. However, the rooms were clean and adequately furnished. The internet signal was strong and the breakfast adequate with good selection of almost everything. The room opens to a veranda with a view of a river. Also, it's a few meters off I5 and adjacent to basic services.

We discovered this Holiday Inn when our car broke down. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My room had an unappealing dated very red carpet but it did have an amazing view, the room was clean and I had very hot water. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who needed to stay in Roseburg.

The room and breakfast were great! Clean bed, great water pressure in the shower, and the best view we could have asked for! Perfect halfway stop on the way to Portland! Staff was very welcoming when we checked in and out.

Old, not updated at all and very expensive. For example, the hotel had an old style ac unit under the window that cranked out cold air if you were right next to the window but did not cool the farther end of the room like the bathroom. I had the room from hell - nice location overlooking the river on the first floor cause I had a dog- which I appreciated. But the room upwind of me had 4 large dogs and what seemed like a dozen people in it, all hanging out on the patio smoking for hours. The smoke blew onto my patio, so I could not sit outside. And the ac unit under the window sucked in all that smoky air into the room, causing my allergies to flare up. I called the front desk to confirm there was no smoking and asked if I could change rooms. Staff were VERY responsive and accommodating. There is supposed to be no smoking on the patios, but I did not feel comfortable confronting the folks in the upwind room about it as I am traveling alone and there were several of them. I called front desk and asked to be moved to a different room before they dealt with the smokers. The staff were extremely responsive and understood immediately my discomfort and moved me.

Traveling with dogs is always an experience. Most "dog friendly" rooms have a strong deodorizer smell or musty this was one of the best smelling dog rooms to date, good job and thank you.

Located right off I5 and walking distance to downtown Roseburg. I found the room's clean and modern, plenty of facilities and the shower was strong with plenty of hot water. Some rooms are accessible through an outdoor corridor and so may feel a bit cold, in the winter, upon approach. I believe most rooms have a view of the SF Umpqua River which is nice. I had a good stay and would recommend.

Would have rated this hotel a 5 star if one of the rooms did not smell like a porta potty. One of our rooms had one of the new tvs and was nice, but our other room had the older tv and the toilet was loose so I believe it was letting in the odor from the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. There was a good variety of foods to choose from. Egg omelets, potatoes, oatmeal, many different kinds of muffins, fresh made pancakes, multiple kinds of juices, fresh yogurt, bacon, sausage and others that I do not remember. There was complimentary coffee 24/7 with creamers. Dog friendly

Great location, right in the river. Staff were busy cleaning all over the hotel all morning and every staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms are a little dated, and very small TVs, however very clean, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Also a wide variety of breakfast options available. A Dutch bros in the same parking lot, and a gas station across the street.
